Blake Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Blake Tollison Shelton (born June 18, 1976) is an American country music singer and television personality. In 2001, he made his debut with the single "Austin". The lead-off single from his self-titled debut album, "Austin" spent five weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The now Platinum-certified debut album also produced two more top 20 entries ("All Over Me" and "Ol' Red").

His second and third albums, 2003's The Dreamer and 2004's Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill, are gold and platinum, respectively. His fourth album, Pure BS (2007), was re-issued in 2008 with a cover of Michael Bublé's pop hit "Home" as one of the bonus tracks. His fifth album, Startin' Fires was released in November 2008.[1] It was followed by the extended plays Hillbilly Bone and All About Tonight in 2010, and the albums Red River Blue in 2011, Based on a True Story... in 2013, Bringing Back the Sunshine in 2014, If I'm Honest in 2016, and Texoma Shore in 2017.

As of May 2020, Shelton has charted 40 singles, including 27 number ones,[4] 17 of which were consecutive. The 11th No. 1 ("Doin' What She Likes") broke "the record for the most consecutive No. 1 singles in the Country Airplay chart's 24-year history". He is an eight-time Grammy Award nominee.

Shelton is also known for his role as a judge on the televised singing competitions Nashville Star, Clash of the Choirs, and as a coach on NBC's The Voice. He has been on The Voice since its inception, and in seven of eighteen seasons (2–4, 7, 11, 13, 18), a member of his team has won.

Blake Shelton still isn't really known for holding his tongue, but he learned a hard lesson about trigger-happy Twitter fingers. After stopping just short of voicing his support for a then very controversial candidate Donald Trump in an August 2016 issue of Billboard and being named People's Sexiest Man Alive in 2017, old Shelton tweets resurfaced that many interpreted as homophobic, sexist, racist, and bodyshaming. The posts included jokes mocking lesbians (including Ellen DeGeneres), references to violence against gay men, and an insinuation that a non-english speaker was "planning to bomb" something.

Server (Current Employee) says

"This is the most unorganized company I have worked for. The schedule changes weekly, they think they own you by only giving one day off then the boss calls you on your only day off . They think you don’t have a life out of the Blake, The place has huge turnover, We are always short staffed and have to work 12 hour days, no one stays very long bc the management is horrible the pay is very low for the work that expect you to do! The residents is the only reason I have stayed."

Personal Assistant (Former Employee) says

"Your check will never add up and the environment is like a nursing home. They are really quick to write you up for any and every little thing. No one can be trusted... Cons: They will change your schedule at the last minute."

PCA Personal Care Assistant (Former Employee) says

"I loved this job at first, then after all the bs I decided I couldnt take anymore. There was favoritism being shown to certain employees, Work snitching, bullying and management was rude everytime I came to them with a problem. I was pregnant and was put into a dangerous work condition they were in denial about memory care patients being violent then I was put on Assisted living where the work load was 20 times worse. Too much going on here at this job and if you ask for help from certain employees they get mad at you! They have sitting positions available, but if you're not one of their favorites they wont give it to you! Also there are people breaking in cars in the parking lot of this place and they have yet to get cameras out there or security. They dont care about you at all here! Cons: co workers trying to be your supervisor/ messy management"

PA (Former Employee) says

"This is a unorganized company. Poor management! They have one housekeeper to clean entire building. Over 100 rooms. Always short staff but expect for the job to get done. Never have supplies. Have staff working in inhuman conditions. The office people stay in office until it’s time to go home . I wouldn’t advise anymore to apply!!!"

DCW (Direct Care Worker) says

"Terrible place to work would not recommend. They don’t care about their employees and the residents are racist and like to belittle the black workers"

Patient Care Aide (Former Employee) says

"Bad management. Corporate is no better. They are crooks. Its all about the mighty dollar. They don't give a darn about the residents nor staff. Just as long there is a body there to work and as long as they are keeping residents coming whether they belong there or not. Absolutely no job security there. Take your chances elsewhere."

Licensed Practical Nurse (Current Employee) says

"They run through employees like a factor. Management has changed 3 times in 1 yr of being open. The look of the place is all the owners care about. Sorry not sorryt"

Director of Wellness (Former Employee) says

"I have been in health care for 30 years. I have never been dismissed from a position or left on bad terms. This speaks to my character. This was the worst experience. I encountered unethical and illegal behavior, poor management and lack of commitment to resident care and satisfaction. The on-line reviews of this company are real. I would not recommend this company for employment or as a community for your loved ones."

LPN (Former Employee) says

"This place is HORRIBLE ! Management talks about their employees behind their backs to other employees and are very unprofessional. There is no communication between the staff. Management lies to staff about the condition of the residents. The cna’s are always working short staffed! Don’t get sick because they will still ask if you can come in and work. It’s a very unsafe environment to work in. If you love working as a nurse and want to keep your license this is NOT the ideal place to be. Cons: $3 meals, low pay for a lot of work, no communication, messy & unsafe environment"

Personal Assistant (Former Employee) says

"Management is racist and all about getting a bonus. They do not care about the residents or staff especially the African Americans. They don't care about being short staffed. To save money they'll have 2 PAs with 30+ residents. The PAs don't work together! Cons: Management do not care about anyone but themselves."

Patient Care Technician (Former Employee) says

"Worst place ever. Beautiful only on the inside but no love inside. Management team sucks the nurses are good people and they don't get respected by management. They should all quit. I quit because 9 dollars was not enough for my family and I drive too far but management doesn't care. The staff in the kitchen got paid more than us. I feel sorry for the residents that place need to management it seems as though nobody cares. I wouldn't recommend this job to my worst enemy. They watch us as if we steal food they treat us as if we don't belong its so sad. I wished nobody shows up for work and upper management had to take care of the residents that would he amazing. They dont appreciate us only the nurses. No pay raise all lies. Don't work here please"

"This is the most unprofessional place to work. The managers have nasty attitudes and never want to come to work. I was working for them for 2 years. Do not even attempt to apply. "I worked at The Blake full-time Cons: Ownership sells a concept that they don't deliver Squeeze everything they can out of employees without fair compensation Don't reinvest in their properties Bottom line is the dollar and not the care of their residents"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at The Blake full-time for less than a year Cons: New Director is running employees off or firing them leading to high turnover. The residents are upset and moving out. We worked good together before and now our team is having to care for too many residents and not enough of us to take care of all of them. People aren't getting taken care of. Turning into a nursing home instead of Assisted Living. Everybody is complaining about the food and how long it takes to get to them. Lots of residents and not enough staff. Need to be paid more for all that we do. I use to love my job and never want to leave now I needed to leave before it got worse. She kept telling everyone she was going to fix issues but never has."

"I worked at The Blake part-time for less than a year Cons: The directors are horrible. They are lazy and incompetent. None of them know what they are doing or what truly goes into being the head of a department (with the exception of the Activities director he’s amazing) the ED is rude and only cares about how he can look good to potential residents then ignores them when they get in the door."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at The Blake full-time Cons: executive team is not engaged in the daily life of the communities, turn over is ridiculous, nursing staff is lazy and doesn't seem to care about the residents, and there is a ton of theft"
